Nature vs. Science-Should We Have to Choose?

Should You Follow Nature or Science?

Maybe the next question is: aren’t they the same thing?

Well, they used to be. Let’s go back to 16th century Italy and visit Galileo. He discovered important principles such as gravity, or the “Law of Falling Bodies.” He taught that mathematics was the language of the universe. This meant that the universe could be measured and studied systematically, by observation. This was a huge leap forward from the edicts of the Catholic Church that stated the universe was unknowable to mere mortals.

Galileo subscribed to the teachings of Copernicus[1] who hypothesized that the sun was the center of the universe and that the earth traveled around the sun, along with the other known planets. This was directly contrary to the Church’s position that the earth was flat and was the center of the universe. This idea was so heretical that Galileo was arrested and imprisoned by the Inquisition, which was the  “cancel culture” of the times. The priests of the Inquisition had the authority to decide whether your personal beliefs and practices were acceptable to God.

It seems to me that Big Tech companies have set themselves up to be the Inquisition of our modern day. They get to decide what health information is allowed and what is not acceptable to their “fact” checkers. This is done in the name of “Science.”

After 25 years of practice, I always raise an eyebrow when someone starts screaming about the “science.” Because what follows so often has nothing to do with real science. In the tradition of trailblazers like Galileo, science is all about pure and simple observation, experimentation, and recording of the results, with as little bias or foregone conclusions as possible.  Galileo turned to astronomy after the development of the telescope and he learned to grind his own lenses in order to create the most powerful telescope of his time. He is credited with discovering the multiple moons of Jupiter and the mountainous surface of the moon. Galileo pursued scientific inquiry for the sake of knowledge despite the fact it was dangerous to do so.

When “science” is intended to prevent people from knowing for themselves, so that power and/or money funnel into the hands of a few, you can bet there won’t be much real science left. Oh, you can make things sound scientific, but that depends on people not knowing the terminology or being scared out of their wits so they are afraid to even look at the subject. Kind of like telling people that God would punish them for trying to know, as Galileo was probably told when they gave him a life sentence and put him under house arrest. Kind of like locking him down? https://www.britannica.com/biography/Galileo-Galilei/Telescopic-discoveries

Galileo was attempting to simply study Nature, not disprove the accepted dogma of the time. He understood that Science is born of Nature. No one holds a Universal license to say what others should study, think, or believe. Whenever it is attempted, the false “science” is always an attempt to control.

So, when it comes to health and wellbeing, Nature rules and good Science follows. Science brought us penicillin, and it saved lives. Over-use of antibiotics to the point of drug-resistant microbes, was created by drug marketers.

Pure scientific research is about finding answers to the question, “how do we help people get well.” Drug makers scream about “science” when they are really asking the question, “how do we make as much money as possible off people getting sick?”

In Galileo’s day the Church controlled the flow of information to the public. Today it is Big Tech and the media. Censorship in the name of preventing “misinformation” is censorship disguised as help.

Real help allows people to know and understand all the information so they can make informed choices and have the right to determine what goes into their bodies. We aren’t children. We don’t need Big Brother looking over us.

This is not just about physical health, although that is important enough. But, just as in Galileo’s time, this is about the right to our own minds and souls. Those people who say they are helping us, by taking away our access to ideas and information, aren’t.

Microbes become drug-resistant because drugs are not from Nature, but from a laboratory. Microbes are pretty smart. How to out-smart them? Take their cue, and use Nature to boost our defenses.

Here is an example: As you have probably heard we are having a doozy of a winter here in the Midwest. Our new house in the country has a backyard that is daily visited by small herds of deer, oodles of bunnies, coyotes, and assorted other creatures. Judging from the size of some of the footprints in the snow, I even suspect Bigfoot may live at the edge of the property! With the extreme cold we began to see mouse-droppings in the kitchen drawers. After doing a little research (and cleaning everything well) I put Tea Tree oil on cotton balls and left them in the drawers. Mice don’t like strong smells. Since then, no evidence of mice. We didn’t have to use traps or poison, we simply increased our defenses, naturally.

I recently visited an MD with a family member. We didn’t mention what I do because we wanted to hear what the doctor had to say about supplements and some natural alternatives to drugs and surgery. His response was that placebos work as well as supplements in many studies (often true) but that supplements are completely unregulated so they might just contain sand. For once, I was glad I had a mask on because I wanted to laugh out loud at this. Supplements are categorized as “foods” by the FDA-The Food and Drug Administration. Since the FDA doesn’t much like supplements, anything that was reported to contain sand would be pounced on quickly. The fact is that many of our drugs are now being manufactured in China, with no oversight from the FDA. Eighty percent of the ingredients used in American drugs are now manufactured in China. https://www.americanmanufacturing.org/blog/china-is-quietly-becoming-the-worlds-pharmacy-and-there-are-big-risks/

So, more than ever, my advice is to find out for yourself before you take any medical or health advice. This is not easy, especially now, but it is well worth it. The decisions that you make may have lasting consequences. Let me know if I can help. My intention is to keep you healthy and keep you away from the need for non-Natural interventions as much as possible. That’s real Science you can count on.
